Tim earned his BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley in 1975. He worked for three large oil and gas companies for 32 years before retiring and starting his own oil and gas business. His work focused on the exploration and production side of the business in various regions of the world.

He worked for two years in Calgary in 2000 and 2001, after having spent several years in Alaska. In that time he became actively involved on the Board of the Alberta Region of the Nature Conservancy of Canada. He has a love for the outdoors and has consistently focused on ensuring that all business activities conducted are undertaken in a responsible manner with the highest level of care for the environment.

Tim is married to Monica and they have one daughter and four grandchildren. The entire family lives in Colbert, Washington – a beautiful small town located north of Spokane, Washington and about an hour and a half drive away from British Columbia.
